JK Tyre in an effort to nurture young talent in the country and make this sport accessible amongst the masses began its commitment to motorsport almost 3 decades ago with Himalayan Car rally.

Subsequently, the company's invested in Rallying, Racing, Go-Karting and International Racing with its prodigies like Narain Karthikeyan,  Karun Chandhok and Armaan Ebrahim who have made their mark internationally.

A complete tier took form offering gradual upgradation from Regional Karting championships to National Karting to National Racing to Asian series, Formula Three, Formula 2 and Formula 1.

KARTING

In an effort to educate people about motorsports, the company established Go-Karting tracks in key metros and patronised more than 8 go-karting centers in India, in order to make this sport viable for anyone from the age group of 8 to 80.

JK Tyre started 4-stroke karting championship in 2000 and later on introduced professional level of karting in 2005 with the introduction of the Rotax 2 stroke kart engines .The winners of the JK Tyre Rotax Max Challenge are selected to represent the country in the Rotax Max World Finals held every year.

RACING

Launchpad for budding motorsport talents in the country.

JK Tyre Junior Cup ,the 800cc formula car  race has been an ideal platform to spot and encourage new talents and provide them growth opportunities.

Launched in 1997, National Racing Championship is held every year at Sriperumbudur & Coimbatore.

Latest technology in the cars, introduction of single seater formula cars upto 1600cc engines powered by three manufacturers , Super Saloon cars (cc to weight ratio) and support races of Super Bikes 600cc to 1000cc has put National Racing Championship at par of the level 4 racing in the world

RALLYING

With JK Tyre entering the rally racing in 1992, the motorsport spectacle changed in the country. India’s first professional Rally team was launched in 1993.

JK Tyre  rally team has 8 National Championship tittles and the first ever Asia Zone Rally Championship title in the region

PRODIGIES OF JK TYRE

JK Tyre National Racing Championship has been the breeding ground for the country’s motorsport talents and JK Tyre’s brand ambassadors such as Formula One Driver, Karun Chandhok , Formula Two Driver ,Armaan Ebrahim and Scirroco Cup Driver, Aditya Patel have all graduated from these programmes.
