JK Tyre commended for ‘Strong Commitment’
to Total Quality Management on the journey towards Business Excellence
The CII-EXIM Bank Award for Business Excellence, instituted jointly by
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the premier apex body of Indian
Industry and Export Import Bank of India, is the most prestigious award
in India for Business Excellence that an Indian company can receive.
This award is modeled on the lines of the European Forum for Quality
Management (EFQM)
award and is administered by CII with the technical support from EFQM.
The award is based on a comprehensive model, focussing on the
organisation’s practices and performance under nine different
criterion, which not only focus on Business Results but also on
Leadership, Policy & Strategy, People Management, Customer Results,
etc.
JK Tyre was awarded the 2001 Commendation Certificate for its Strong
Commitment to Total Quality Management principles to satisfy various
stakeholders on the journey towards Business Excellence.
