Delhi : JK Tyre, India’s leading tyre manufacturer and pioneers
of radial technology in India, have launched the
next generation car
radials - Ultima XPS. The new offering,
designed exclusively for
the cars in the midsize and premium segment promises to bring
groundbreaking performance, superior handling and unparalleled ride
comfort, to India. The T-rated radial (capable of performing at over 190
km/h), Ultima XPS boasts of computer generated open shoulder grooves and
offset circumferential grooves, a solid shoulder rib and extra wide
tread arc for flawless braking, exceptional cornering and exceptional
handling characteristics.
Announcing the launch of Ultima XPS, Mr. T.K. Banerjee, Marketing

The path-breaking features of Ultima XPS include bi-directional lateral
grooves on the centre rib that helps to provide excellent wet and dry
traction making Ultima XPS an ideal all-weather tyre. The Finite Element
Analysis simulated profile and wider tread arc width of the tyre promise
to optimise tyre life. The 3-pitch sequence with a unique pitch design
ensures low noise while polyester construction provides high dimensional
and structural stability.
