Gwalior, February 2, 2007: The city of Maharaja's is going to experience the sound of roaring engines, screeching spins as Narain Karthikeyan, The Fastest Indian in the world is coming to Gwalior to attend JK Tyre's Treasure Hunt Car Rally. This coming 4th, city will get a new life as JK Tyre, leading tyre brand of the country, is holding an event full of speed and joy, Treasure Hunt Car Rally, for its employees and dealers. JK Tyre is pumping up the excitement of Motorsports in many cities of India, and to add to excitement of the rally enthusiasts, the Treasure Car Hunt Rally in Gwalior promises to be a plenty with nail-biting moments. The event is slated to happen on February 4, 07 at Capt. Roop Singh Stadium, Gwalior.

JK Tyre Treasure Hunt Car Rally is a chance for the participants to be part of History but with different attractions and new Funda. The only thing you have to do is to get your car serviced, look for a navigator. The rally offers a challenge for participants to pit their wits against each other and to explore each and every corner of Gwalior, in the search for treasure, as in the long lost days of old, but this time in form of clues. A bevy of Vintage and classic beauties that were used by the Maharajas and industrialists of the yesteryears will be going to pump up the excitement of this Rally.

The participants will drive the car and next to them is their navigator for help that can be anybody, a family member or a friend. Participants will be given the first clue at the start point of the rally after flag off. As soon as they arrive at the clue station, person over there will endorse the clue point KM reading and time on your Rally pad and he will handover next clue. By this the treasure hunters will reach to a final hunting point where they will find a Treasure. There will be approx 6-8 clues to reach the final treasure point, which will be within 50 Km of the total run.

The Treasure Hunt Car Rally consists of three winner categories: Championship Trophy first and second for hunting treasure correctly with minimum km run and time, most Decorated car and The Vintage Car of the day. Winner will be decided on the basis of correctly identified clues, minimum time and km taken to hunt the treasure and back to start point and in case of tie on the basis of best decorated car.
